Ellen Krieger has natural artistic abilities. She has been practicing dentistry for over 22
years. At the age
of 15, she was introduced to silversmithing while at summer camp in Starlight, Pennsylvania.
It was at that point jewelry making became her passion. Although she stopped concentrating on jewelry while in dental school and while practicing full time, she recently re-established her
connection with jewelry.
Ellen is inspired by nature and the colors and patterns found in textiles. She creates necklaces and bracelets in
14KT gold, fine silver, sterling silver, and copper wire.
She either crochets or twists the wire with semi-precious stones, Swarovski crystals, and/or beads.
She also loves to use metalsmithing techniques to make
unique jewelry and other interesting pieces of art.
